Why you should always say YES to a festival

At the end of August I went to Lollapalooza festival in Paris. What should I say? It was a blast! It might sound a little cheesy, but a good festival gives you so much motivation, happiness and love, you should go whenever there is the opportunity to. So today I give you three reasons why you should always say YES to a festival. But before I want to give a little disclaimer and background story: I already wrote this post a few weeks ago and it should have been the best post of all the Paris related ones. I loved my outfit and the photos and of course it is simply nice to write about a fabulous experience. Unfortunatley my boyfriend lost his new iPhone, which had all the festival photos on it (No there was no back-up, because the cloud was already bursting). I could (and I literally did) cry! I danced around the festival in my brandnew Castaner Espadrilles the whole day (everything for the blog :D), ruined them due to a rainy surprise (cried about that, too) and at the end was left with three blurry shitty photos my boyfriend sent me via whatsapp before. But luckily yesterday we realized the photos were on our iPad all along! And I almost cried a third time, but in happiness (finally). So now I can show you what I wore at Lollapalooza Paris, yaaay!

Was soll ich sagen?

3 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SAY YES TO A FESTIVAL:

1. Festivals are like Pizza. Even a bad one is still good.
You never say "Oh my Goood, it was such a struggle to get there and all the money I've spent, I wish I didn't go!" You'll just never say that. And you probably will never hear someone else say that, too. (Even though I had really rough festival experiences aswell, I'm looking at you here, Reading Festival...) Why that is? Because in the end the music (thank you Eminem) and the fun time there will make up all the struggles before.

2. Better sooner than later.
I'll take the risk to sound like a granny here but you can't go to a festival when you're 45 years old (at least I can't, but feel free to do your thing!). Some day you realize you are not willing to work from Monday to Friday to take a plane to London on Saturday at 4 am, go straight to a festival and fly back the next day at 4 am. Also you are more likely to leave the festival and go home before you wait in line for three hours to go to the toilet. Or eat a "hot dog" which cost 10€ and tastes more like dog food. So do it while you're young and don't care too much about quality and comfort (It gets harder every year for me).

3. Wear what you want!
This is something which should be valid anyway, but at a festival people are bizarrely finally listening. You see people with literally nothing on but a nipple cover and shorts and you also see people in a Pikachu costume. Either way I love it! And I find it so liberating to not give a shit about what others might think about your clothes!

3. Zieh an was Dir gefällt!
